Minced Soya

Ingredients

Nugget 1 cup

Snow pea ¼ cup (optional)

Ginger 1 inch

Onion 2 pcs

Chilly pwd 1 tsp

Salt 1½  tsp

Butter 3 tbsp

Water 4 cups

Method

  1. Soak the nugget in hot water for 5 min. Rinse and squeeze twice, leave aside.
  2. Boil snow pea for 10 minutes, until fully cooked. Separate cover from pea and leave aside.
  3. Grind the ginger using mortar and pestle.
  4. Take the onion and finely chop.
  5. In a pan place the butter and allow to melt on low heat. Once the butter has melted turn heat up to medium.
  6. Add the ginger and onions to the pan and fry for about 3 min.
  7. Place mok meat to the pan and mix. Fry for about 4 minutes.  Add salt and chilly power.
  8. Finally pour in the water, place lid and cook until almost all the water has evaporated (leave a little water to retain flavor). About 10 minutes, then remove from heat. Ready to Serve.
